A successful run saw the film stay at the top for a total of 3 week, but it's chart run didn't last much longer and it only lasted 6 weeks on the top 15.
The film took £15.5 million at the Uk box office making it the 278th highest grossing film ever. Compared to it's predecessor The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel it was about £5 million behind.
Last weeks top film, Fifty Shades of Grey, fell to the runner up spot this week.
