The film entered the box office at the top with an opening weekend of £12.7 million, the highest of the series.
A 3 week spell at the top gave it a total chart run of 8 weeks and netted it £38 million at the UK box office, it is currently the 45th highest grossing film ever in the UK and the fourth highest of 2015.
The film did phenomenal business across the world as well and is currently the 4th highest grossing film of all time with a global gross of $1.5 billion.
Cinderella falls from the top into second place on its 3rd week of release.
