The trailer was released during The Game Awards which took place in Thursday evening.
The is no story given away in the trailer and is simply a showcase for Jim Carey and reinforces that Knuckles and Two Tails will feature in the movie.
After the controversy over the digital look of Sonic in the original tailer for Sonic the Hedgehog it is reassuring to see that all the characters look like their video game counterparts.
The movie stars once again Ben Schwartz as Sonic with James Marsden alongside Jim Carey and they are joined by Idris Elba as Knuckles and Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Two Tails.
The movie is directed once again by Jeff Fowler and is set for release on 8th April 2022, COVID restriction permitting.
