US Box Office Weekend Report 18th - 20th March 2022: Batman remain at the top of the US box office for a third weekend with Jujutsu Kaisen 0 coming in at 2

The Batman spends its 3rd weekend at the top of the US box office while the Japanese manga movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie is the top debut at 2.

Horror movie X makes its debut at number 4 and The Outfit is a new movie at number 8 with $1.5 Million on its debut.

Global hit The Kashmir Files makes a new entry at number 9 with $1.4 Million while Sandra Oh stars in Umma which is new at 11 with $915,000 and finally Alice~2022 is a new entry at number 12 with $176,120.

Another weekend at the top of the US box office for the DC Universe smash hit movie which takes $36.8 Million over the weekend, a 45% drop from last weekend.

This gives the movie a total US gross of $300 Million and it it now by far the top movie of 2022.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie

Highest new movie of the weekend makes its debut at number 2 as the Japanese Manga title directed by Seong-Hu Park takes $14.8 Million.

The movie was a smash hit in Japan upon release at the end of December 2021.

Slipping down to number 3 this weekend is the former number 1 movie starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake from the video games series of the same name.

The movie takes $8 Million on its 5th weekend of release, a drop of only 14%, giving the movie a total of $125.9 Million and making it the 3rd top movie of 2022.

Director Ti West brings his latest horror movie to the big screen which makes its debut at number 4 this weekend with $4.4 Million.

The directors highest grossing movie to date is V/H/S which took $100,000 in 2012, so this is by far his biggest movie to date.

Dog

The feel good buddy movie from Channing Tatum drop to number 5 this weekend with $4 Million, a 21% drop on its 5th weekend giving the movie a $54.2 Million total and the 7th top movie of 2022.
