Real life band sensation turned animated feature KPop Demon Hunters makes its debut at the top of the North American box office at number one with a reasonable $18 Million debut.

Its not uncommon for K-Pop bands to hit the box office in live concerts shown in cinemas but this is a 90 minute animated movie featuring a female K-Pop band.

After spending a couple of weeks at the top Weapons falls to second place with a weekend gross of $15.5 Million taking to movies gross ot over $100 Million at the US box office.
