At the UK box office this week, Friday, 31st May 2019, there is 3 new releases looking to take your attention at the local multiplex and break into the box office chart next week.
First up at cinemas this week is Sci-Fi movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters directed by Michael Dougherty who also directed Krampus in 2015 which grossed £1,184,159.
It stars Kyle Chandler who last starred in First Man and Vera Farmiga who last appeared in The Front Runner.
Next on the new release schedule is Booksmart, this new Comedy movie stars Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein.
The film is brought to us by new director Olivia Wilde.
Also out this week is Ma which is directed by Tate Taylor who directed Pretty Ugly People in 2008.
It stars Octavia Spencer and Diana Silvers.
