The movie is a retelling of the stage show of the same name which was also adapted by director Robert Wise is 1961.
The new version stars Ansel Elgort amd Rachel Zegler as Tony and Maria as the star crossed lovers.
The movie is set for release on 10th December 2021 after being delayed a year.
