The Fantastic Four: First Steps held off a potential threat from new comer
The Naked Gun to stay at the top of the UK and Northern Ireland box office for a second weekend.
Despite a 62% drop from last weekend the superhero movie took an exceptable second weekend gross of just over £3 Million giving the movie a total gross of £15.3 Million.
The movie has now taken more that Thor and should overtake Eternals and maybe this years Thunderbolts by next weekend.
The reinvented The Naked Gun starring Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson makes its debut at number 2 this weekend with a nice £1.8 Million.
This is very much in the ballpark of the original The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad which took £457,000 on its debut and adjusted for inflation would be nearly £2 Million.
