US Box Office Weekend Report 10th - 12th January 2025:  Den of Thieves 2 makes its North American box office debut at the top with a $15 Million debut

Sequel movie Den of Thieves 2 makes its North American box office debut at the top with a weekend gross of over $15 Million.

The movie takes in almost the exact same of the first movie in the series from 2018 although that movie made its debut at number 3.

Last weeks top movie, Mufasa: The Lion King, from Disney drops to number 2 this weekend on its 4th weekend of release.

The movie takes $14 Million this weekend for a total North American gross of $189.7 Million as it speeds towards the $200 Million milestone.

Wicked is fast approaching to half billion milestone as its total gross gets close to $460 Million.
