Sequel movie
Dune: Part Two has no problem makings its debut at the top of the North American box office this weekend as it smashes its way in with a debut gross of $82.5 Million.
The first movie in the series was released during the closures of the COVID19 pandemic, and although had a theatrical release its $40.1 Million debut in October of 2021 was reflective of the times.
Last weeks top movie, Bob Marley: One Love, falls to number 2 this weekend after a couple of weekends at the top, but has still taken over $82 Million on its 3 weeks of release.
Finishing off the fourth season on smash hit TV show The Chosen, The Chosen: Season 4 Episodes 7 8 is a new entry at number 3 this weekend with $4 Million.
Madame Web Clings onto the a top 5 position for another weekend but with the film only having made $40.4 Million after 3 weeks Sony will be looking at this movie as its biggest disaster for a Spider Man related movie to date.
