At the UK box office this week, Friday, 24th May 2019, there is 3 new releases looking to take your attention at the local multiplex and break into the box office chart next week.
First up at cinemas this week is Musical movie Aladdin directed by Guy Ritchie who also directed King Arthur: Legend of the Sword in 2017 which grossed £4,887,487.
It stars Will Smith who last starred in Bright for Netflix and Mena Massoud who last appeared in Run This Town.
Next on the new release schedule is Rocketman, this new biographical movie stars Taron Egerton and Jamie Bell.
The film is brought to us by 4 time director Dexter Fletcher who's last film was Eddie the Eagle.
Also out this week is The Secret Life of Pets 2 which is directed by Chris Renaud and Jonathan del Val directing together.
It stars Patton Oswalt and Kevin Hart.
