UK Box Office Weekend Report 18th - 20th February 2022: Uncharted remains at the top of the UK box office for a second weekend while Dog is the top new movie

Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg spend a second weekend at the top of the UK box office as Uncharted makes it 2 weeks at the top.

Highest new movie is the weekend is the Channing Tatum starring Dog while at the bottom of the top 15 is Aaraattu from directors B. Unnikrishnan and Anna Wieczur-Bluszcz which takes £65,000 on its debut.

Also worth noting this weekend is that Spider Man: No Way Home has overtaken Avatar as the 5th top movie ever in the UK and is only a stones throw from Spectre at number 4, and could overtake it by next weekend.

Uncharted

The video game adaptation is proving to be a big hit in the UK as the movie spends a second weekend at the top of the box office with a weekend gross of £3.7 Million, a slim 20% drop over last weekend.

It is now the 4th top movie of 2022 with a total gross of £12.3 Million and further pushes star Tom Holland to be the most bankable star of the moment, in fact his movie have pulled in a total of nearly half a billion pounds at the UK box office.

In comparison the last Tomb Raider movie released in 2019 took just over £7 Million at the UK box office.

Sing 2

The animated sequel continues to do well at the UK box office and this week remains at number 2 with £3.1 Million, an almost non-existent 2% drop over last weekend.

The movie has now taken £23.3 Million over its 4 week run in the UK and although it is the second top movie of 2022 this weekend it will most likely overtake Spider Man: No Way Home by next weekend to be the top movie of the year, so far.

Death On the Nile~2020

The fist Kenneth Branagh movie on the box office top 5 this weekend with a weekend gross of £1.3 Million, 29% down on last weekend, pushing the movies total to £4.7 Million.

Dog

Dog

Top new movie of the weekend has Canning Tatum team up with a American war veteran dog and the couple travel across America in this action comedy.

The movie takes £822,122 on its debut at number 4 this weekend.

Belfast

The second Kenneth Branagh movie on the top 5 as the Oscar nominated movie falls to number 5 this weekend with £756,381 on its 5th weekend, a 28% drop.

This gives the movie a total UK gross of £12.9 Million and makes it the 3rd top movie of 2022.
